World Crane Championships to be held in Tyllis!

Nine competitions will be held to find Finland’s best crane operator and representative in this year’s edition of Hiab’s World Crane Championship. On 6 June, Tyllis will host one of the competitions.

The search for the country’s best crane operator in 2024 is now underway across Finland. Heats are taking place between Helsinki and Oulu, and on 6 June Tyllis will host the seventh heat in Kokkola.

The winners of the heats will compete in the finals at the FinnMETKO trade fair in Jämsä on 31 August, where this year’s Finnish champion will be crowned.

This year, we have increased the number of competitions so that as many people as possible can participate. Our goal is to beat last year’s record number of participants. The chassis for the competitions is a Volvo FM 6×2 with a Multilift Ultima 21SL hook lift and a Hiab X-Hipro 232 E6 crane,’ says Kimmo Kaunisto, Sales Manager at Hiab.

Tyllis is looking forward to the competition in Kokkola.

We are very proud to host one of the competitions. In addition to watching the exciting event, our customers will be able to test Hiab’s competition model and test drive new crane models,’ says Tyllis CEO Göran Tylli.
